Dr. George Milis is an experienced professional in project management and the development of innovative solutions, specializing in water systems and advanced software systems and applications. He holds a PhD in Computer Engineering from the University of Cyprus, specializing in intelligent control systems based on semantic reasoning. He also holds an MSc in Advanced Computing with a specialization in Artificial Intelligence from the Department of Computing at Imperial College London and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece.
Dr. Milis has extensive experience in software project management, cutting-edge research activities ranging from requirements analysis to design, development, and change management processes. He is also highly experienced in knowledge management systems and applications, web applications, data mining, knowledge modeling and representation, natural language processing, machine learning applications, and artificial intelligence in general, for the monitoring and control of large-scale systems, the Internet of Things, etc.
Dr Milis is a Board Member of the Cyprus Association of Research and Innovation Enterprises (www.carie.eu) and is also involved in several committees aimed at promoting research and innovation, with the broader goal of socio-economic benefits for Cyprus and Europe in general.
